THE RULES
- Bands shall consist of at least one student. Any band found to contravene this rule shall be liable to disqualification.
- The competition shall consist of up to four heats and a semi-final run on a weekly basis culminating in the Final, which will be held on Thursday March 23rd th 2006.
- One band/artiste shall proceed from each heat to the final, the bands in second place shall proceed to the semi-final, based on the decision of a chosen panel of judges.
- The judge’s decision is final.
- Bands / artistes shall be required to play sets (maximum 15-minutes) consisting of original material. No covers!!!
- The time limit shall be strictly enforced!
- PA shall be provided by the management but instruments and backline must be provided by the bands/ artistes.
